About Me
For 35 years and counting, I have taught all levels of English and all grades: from Homer to Sophocles, Beowulf to Frankenstein, the Romantics to the Moderns. I have taught American Literature, Modern Literature, Creative Writing and Shakespeare, in addition to Argument and Research, Introduction to Fiction, and Freshman Writing at the college level.

Horses
I am the proud owner of two fantastic horses — Hugo, a Friesian, and Chutzpah, an American Saddlebred — who are often featured in the background of my virtual classroom, helping to put students at ease and keeping them engaged.
